Goal Stretched!!!!!
As Lensen has been very well supported by Taejai people,LET'S STRETCH THE GOAL!!!!! We want to deliver the new version of Lensen to the last two schools in Thailand that haven't received the tool which are school for the blind in Lampang and Phrae.
Let's make Lensen avaiable in every school for the blind in Thailand!
"Every children with visual impairment have imagination and creativity not less than any other children, they just need a right tool and an opportunity to unleash it."
This is what we have learnt over a year of developing Lensen, a drawing kit for children with visual impairment, that was very well received by Taejai people last year. Moreover, we've learnt that Lensen can improve their learning not just in Arts but also in Sciences, Maths, and any other subjects that require drawing as a tool to study. That is why we, klongdinsor team, have been improving Lensen into the second version with major improvements as follow:
1. Lensen Pen is now made from BioPE plastic, which is a plastic from sugar. Stronger but cheaper
2. New ergonomic design making it easier to use
3. Multiple color and texture of wool
4. The new version is packed by people with mental disability, creating jobs and income for them
We want to raise funding to provide 60 sets of Lensen Drawing Kit (new version) to School for the blind in Roi-ed and Khon Kaen, the last 2 schools that has not received any Lensen. In these 2 schools, there are 228 students (125 students in Roi-ed and 103 students in Khon Kaen, we want to provide 4 students per 1 Lensen set)

ประโยชน์ของโครงการ :
Lensen is a multi purpose tool that can be used to draw not only in Arts but also to learn Sciences, Maths, Orientation and Mobility, and any other subjects that require drawing as a part of the learning process. Moreover, it is a communication tool for us to learn how people with visual impairment percieve the World around them.
Lensen can reduce burden of teachers in preparing the teaching tools and help increase effectiveness of the teaching.
Double the impact, by supporting Lensen, you also create jobs and income for people with mental disablilty in the Foundation for the welfare of the mentally retarded of Thailand in doing the packing for us.

กิจกรรมที่จะดำเนินโครงการ :
To produce and deliver Lensen Drawing Kit to schools for the blind in Roi-ed and Khon Kaen provinces of Thailand.
In case the support is more than that the target, we will provide more sets to the aforementioned schools or to blind schools in other province.
