The “Drawing Set for Blind Kids” had excessively raised fund, and on 27 August 2556, Klongdinsor, led by Chatchai Apibanpunpol, organized a Five Senses activity and delivered 40 sets of Len Sen to blind kids.
Five Senses Activity
This activity was organized to demonstrate blind kids’ abilities in terms of using human sense organs in their daily lives and urge people to understand their abilities by paring participants with blind kids to guess to do an activity what they got.
1. Smelling base: participants and kids wore a sleep eye mask to smell foods such as garlic, durian, orange, and etc.
2. Testing base: participants and kids also wore a sleep eye mask to test some food such as chocolate, pomelo, and mangosteen
3. Listening base: participants and kids wore a sleep eye mask to listen music.
4. Touching base: participants and kids wore a sleep eye mask to find products such as corn, apple, banana, and etc.
5. Sighting base: participants drew a picture with the Len Sen drawing set such as triangle, star, and round.
We delivered 40 sets of Len Sen to the school afterward.
From this opportunity, we learnt that we all can accomplish everything if we just try.
