“We want to see Thai people have more access to clean rice and we want to see Thai rice farmers turn to cleaner, healthier and more sustainable farming”

This was simply how we came together as a volunteer group called “Khon Kin Khao Chuay Khon Plook Khao” or “Rice Consumers Help Rice Producers”.  We believe in Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) and wish to help bridge the gap between farmers and consumers and allow them to become friends.  By being friends, we can turn into a community in which friends can support each other – supporting Thai farmers to say no to chemical substances and start changing their way of farming into cleaner and healthier organic way and supporting consumers to have more access to quality rice at reasonable prices.

Thinking alike, we came into partnership with “Food4Good” Project in which aims to reduce malnutrition problem in Thai children, and launched this “Rice Bucket: From Famers to Children” project in August 2014. Our goal is to fundraise for 250 kg of organic rice per month and donate them to children and youth in supervision of “Sahathai Foundation” who devoted to improving quality of life of Thai children and youth throughout the past 3 decades. 

Where is our rice from?

Our authentic jasmine rice comes from Thai farmers in Yasothon Province who decided to turn away from chemical production into organic farming.  They are nurtured by the long-standing Earthnet Foundation whose profile is rich with experience in supporting organic agriculture and community development for more than 20 years.
