Dengue fever, elephantiasis, chikungunya, and Malaria are diseases from a mosquito affect people in a Ban Huan Luk community. Because its environment is surrounded by a Para rubber forest, sea, mangroves forest, and shrimp farm, it is easy for mosquito larva and mosquitoes to survive. Some of our friends need to use a chemical mosquito repellent when they work in a farm to protect themselves from mosquitoes. Otherwise, they could not work. But what they suffer from using it is a headache and sore chest and nose.    

Due to the mosquito problem, we, villagers, come up with a conclusion that we should use herb as a mosquito repellent by applying local folk wisdom. We have created an herbal innovative production Ban Wang Won group, Trang, and appointed Dr. Teerakamon Pengsakul, professor at medical technologist, Prince of Songkla University, Hatyai as a consultant. In addition, voluntary students have joined this project as an academic coordinator and consultant.
