Overall information for the Farmsook Ice-cream Project #2

The signification of this project is to help teach children making ice-cream and sell it. Then, give the income to them so they can use it to proceed the project, and to teach the next generation onwards.

 

Some of you may have experiences of doing charities by buying ice-cream from random parlors to help feed poor children from starvation. However, Chairit Imcharoen intentionally and dedicatedly makes the homemade ice-cream by himself in order for the children to receive clean and good quality ice-cream made of fresh and pasteurized milk with fit amount of sugar added.

 

After having done this kindly charities for three years, Mr.Chairit found out that this project was not sustainable enough. Also, with the suggestion from Thai Social Enterprise Office (SE), he decided, instead, to teach the children to make the homemade ice-cream by themselves. In consequences, they have job, skills, and activities, which later make them achieve the healthy food award from Thai SE. Moreover, under the “Farmsook” brand, they earn some income from selling ice-cream which will be used for three main proposes: for production, for ingredients, and for fund.

 

 

Now we would like to have more “Ice-cream Freezer” in order to help increase chances for children to make more money and have job for themselves.
