When elders live together, they will be mentally affected as they see benefits of living for other people in their late lives. 

 

We hope to see elders to form a group for taking care among them in three areas: visiting elders, creating fund for their funerals, and open a grandparents shop as a social enterprise. We will sell donated used products in order to buy appliances to improve their lives such as a hospital bed, wheelchair, and other things. Right now, forOldy has 300 members in 5 communities. What we get from talking with elders that they pretty much stay at home, and the area in their community is very limited. Consequently, elders with low income are very depressed to not have a chance to go anywhere. 

 

 

With these reasons, we want to organize an activity to take 50 grandparents (with 25 volunteers) to the sea in Hua-Hin - Prachuap Khiri Khan, Had Suason Pradipat plus some activities and healthy tips. This is a starting point to encourage elders to realize how important they are and share their abilities with other.
