ที่มา/ความสำคัญโครงการ :

The route of economic among Thailand, Burma, Lao PDR, and China or the R3A route will be open as a free trade area for 10 countries in ASIAN, and the Khuntan district is on that route.

Today, as so many tourists have traveled to this district, senior villagers want their children to have more skills in English in order to live and work in the district rather than work in other province and then leave society as a place for elders.

Moreover, local culture could be forgotten as new culture tends to be pouring into this community. To address this problem, this project is also aimed at encouraging more than 40 young kids (grade 5 – 9) to learn more about local culture and know on how to treat visitorsamicably.

Jub Wichuda Suriya is the project owner said: “kids who join this project will receive a certificate to work as a professional tourist guide from the ChiangRai Provincial Office of Tourism and Sports and can actually pursuit their careers in the future.”

ประโยชน์ของโครงการ :

1.A lot of benefits in terms of human resource, economic, and culture will come to community.

2.In terms of human resource, kids will be urged to think, present, and learn more.

3.In terms of culture, training youngtourist guides will encourage themto understand their community and be able to provide useful information to serve tourists correctly.

4.In terms of economic, training young tourist guides will strengthen the community to earn more income from international tourists.

5.Training young tourist guides will be a good defensive plan.

6.This project is a first step to creative tourism.

กิจกรรมที่จะดำเนินโครงการ :

1.Online fundraising on Taejai.

2.Look for kids to join young tourist guide training, not more than 40 kids.

3.Search a place and expert for training.

4.Recruit an organizer and provide food, accommodation, and place – by getting involvement from villagers.
