“Your donation with a minimum amount of 250 baht is legitimated for tax deduction. We invite you to help us, in this Phase II, send books to 5 more schools in the border areas so that marginal children have media that help boosting their creativity as well as learning.”

ที่มา/ความสำคัญโครงการ :

“Giving books is like giving opportunity to read and to children’s better future.” Embedding the reading habit must start at early ages, known as the ages when creative learning is started along with imaginations and skill developments including reading skill. The latter is aimed at laying life-long learning foundation. Consequently, creating opportunity to read is deemed significant element for the country’s sustainable development.

However, a number of children and young people lack access to reading, especially those living along the border areas. These underprivileged youths need good books that can stimulate their imaginations and improve their knowledge. Without access to good books, it is almost impossible to embed the habit of reading in these young people.

The team, therefore, initiated this project, with expectation of offering the future, of book deliveries. Under the project, we invite you to take part in building opportunities for reading while increasing frequency of smiles and imaginations to students in the remote areas. We intend to send books to schools on the borders which often lack budgets and opportunities to good books, which are media that will make them initiate their imaginations while learning new things.

We succeeded in mobilizing funds for Phase I, and books are now on their ways to 5 schools including:

Class room On the Border

For every donation done through Nan Mee Books Co., Ltd., the donation amount will be multiplied by one fold so that greater number of children have opportunities to read. The books selected will be appropriate for students at the primary and Matthayom levels.

ประโยชน์ของโครงการ :

1. Students can read good books suitable for their ages, such as tales, bi-lingual books, knowledge-based books, etc. The project opens the world of imaginations alongside learning for students.

2. Students gain quality educational opportunities via reading and researching from the books.

กิจกรรมที่จะดำเนินโครงการ :

Give the Future, Give Book Project supports provisions of good books suitable to children’s ages to deliver directly to schools. The project, aimed at parity distribution of reading opportunity, is liaised via directors of the schools. Under this project, we make book donations to 5 schools. (Each school will receive books worth 36,000 baht, of the total amount, every 18,000 baht from donator will be added by another 18,000 baht by the project. The books under the Project are published by Nan Mee Books Publication.)

เทใจดอทคอม เริ่มต้นจากความต้องการช่วยเหลือกลุ่มคนที่อยากทำเรื่องดีๆ เพื่อสังคม เทใจเป็นโครงการภายใต้มูลนิธิบูรณะชนบทแห่งประเทศไทยในพระบรมราชูปถัมภ์ โดยมีมูลนิธิเพื่อ “คนไทย” และ สถาบัน ChangeFusion ร่วมกันสร้างพื้นที่กลางนี้ขึ้นมา เราอยากให้เทใจเป็นพื้นที่สำหรับคนที่ต้องการสร้างความเปลี่ยนแปลงในสังคม และให้สมาชิกของเทใจสามารถมีส่วนร่วมติดตามผลการดำเนินโครงการที่ตนบริจาคได้
