Because of cruelty, two sisters, N’A, 7 years old, and N’B, 6 years old, got serious injuries; had a problem in terms of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorders (ADHD); and could not get along well with their peers. In addition, N’B also had a problem about speaking, and N’A got a problem in terms of selective eating disorder. After they received medial treatment from a hospital, they were sent back to The Center for Protection of Children’s rights foundation and Rehabilitation.
In the early states, N’A and N’B were personally received art therapy. After they both had a self-conscious, they participated several activities at an art camp in order to have relationships with other peers. With new experiences, the two siblings were quite happy and relaxing. And because of the warm environment from their peers’ families, the two siblings were better realizing how to live without violence; how to create good relationships between them; and how to properly interact with their friends in the camp and other people in a community.
With their stories, even thought the two siblings have already passed all the severe circumstances, these stories still have had impacts on many children in terms of emotional and mental conditioning. The foundation, responsible for 18 children at the moment, has tried to protect child abuse under the 18, including children suffering from cruelty, sexual abuse, prostitution, unfair labor practice, and kidnapping. With various ways, the foundation takes care children very closely and also uses art to recover and develop children’s emotion, mentality, and social skills through various activities such as personal and collective art activities, a pure art exhibition, and a healing art camp in order to get them back to a society again.
In addition, the foundation also started a Child Building Camp to heal children with arts by introducing folkways in a community and the nature to inspire children’s works. With this way, the children could learn folkways in rural areas and how to live with natures. And if they got a chance to continually learn more about arts, their mentality would be finally healed.
