WFP continues to provide emergency assistance to people affected by the severe floods in Nepal. So far, 4,000 people have received food assistance, with 31.8 tonnes of food sent to affected communities.
WFP is also helping deliver food and other essential supplies to communities in need, including areas that are difficult to reach. At the same time, WFP continues to work closely with the Government of Nepal and humanitarian partners to ensure assistance reaches affected families as quickly as possible.

Every meal we share can help WFP provide emergency food and logistics support to people affected by the devastating flash floods in Nepal.
Severe flash floods and landslides have hit Nepal, leaving people missing and causing widespread destruction. Many families have been displaced, lost their livelihoods and are facing uncertainty.
Within just 24 hours of the disaster, WFP was already on the ground helping affected families. Emergency food, including high-energy biscuits, was sent to the first 100 households. WFP is also helping deliver food and essential supplies to hard-to-reach communities, working alongside the Government of Nepal and humanitarian partners.
Despite difficult conditions and limited access to some of the worst-affected areas, WFP stands ready to reach more families as needs grow.

The journey toward delivering 100,000 meals officially began with the launch of “The Next Bucket: Save Lives & Change Lives,” a fundraising campaign under the partnership between Siam Piwat and the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP), launched on 18 June 2026.
As one of the campaign’s first fundraising activities, participating restaurants introduced special menu items that allow customers to support WFP through their purchases. From June to 30 September 2026, every order of the Massaman Lamb Curry with Khao Phra Suri Rice at Sapparos contributes to the campaign. FIKKA is also participating with its special Green Curry Pork with Roti menu from 19 June to 31 December 2026, while L’Antica Pizzeria Da Michele Bangkok will organize fundraising activities and offer special menu items to further support the campaign.
Funds raised through the campaign will support WFP’s programmes across Asia and the Pacific, providing food assistance to vulnerable people and communities where needs are greatest.
Across Asia and the Pacific, more than 65 million people continue to face severe food insecurity. Every contribution to the campaign helps WFP deliver life-saving food assistance today while creating opportunities for a better tomorrow.
