Taejai.com began with the desire to supportindividuals who want to do good for society.
Taejai is a project under the Thai Rural Reconstruction Movement Foundation under Royal Patronage, supported by the Khon Thai Foundation and the ChangeFusion Institute. We aim to create a central platform for those wanting to drive social change. We want Taejai to be a space where impact makers can connect with members, allowing all members to track the progress and impact of the projects they support.
Project Screening Criteria
Creativity
The project should introduce innovative ways to benefit the community and society, with potential for sustainability and scalability.
Social Impact
The project should have a measurable and effective social impact.
Feasibility
The project team or organization must be capable of managing, implementing, and continuously reporting on the project's progress.
How We Sustain Our Operations
To ensure Taejai can sustain itself and remain independent, we charge a 10% operating fee from the total project donations. This fee covers:
Platform maintenance and improvements
Payment gateway transaction fees
Follow-up and due diligence costs for various projects
We assure all donors that their contributions will be used effectively to benefit the projects. In cases where a project cannot meet its funding goal but is still willing to proceed, Taejai will transfer the funds to the project owner. If the project owner cannot continue, Taejai will work with them to redirect the funds to another project on our platform.
Active Giving for Tax Deduction
Every donation through Taejai is tax-deductible. Instead of passive giving by paying taxes, you can take control with active giving through Taejai, choosing exactly which causes you want to support.
Taejai operates under the Thai Rural Reconstruction Movement Foundation under Royal Patronage. TRRM is a registered tax-deductible organization under the Ministry of Finance.
