"Support the education and development of hill tribe students and underprivileged students, giving them the opportunity to achieve their dream of higher education. This will enable them to grow into dignified professionals, ready to give back to society by becoming good role models for the next generation."
Social issues
The Hill Tribe Education Foundation provides non-refundable scholarships for hill tribe and underprivileged students to pursue higher education (Bachelor's degree).
The project addresses two main challenges faced by these students: low self-belief/aspirations and lack of financial resources for university tuition and living expenses.
Key Objectives & Impact:

Fund Education: Cover tuition and provide a monthly living allowance for a 4-year degree (currently supporting students from 5 schools in Northern Thailand).

Develop Leaders: Scholars receive leadership training to become Role Models (e.g., teachers, nurses) who return to their communities and inspire the next generation in special welfare schools.

Proven Success: Since 2014, the foundation has helped over 40 scholars graduate and secure professional jobs in their communities.
Approaches to addressing issues
A 2010 survey found that students lacked self-confidence, did not believe in their own potential, had no dreams, and never thought they should have any. This was partly due to the fundamental belief that as hill tribe people (a minority group in society), they could not compete with students in the city. Therefore, a sustainable solution has been implemented to achieve lasting results through the following: 1. Provide Scholarships and Living Allowances to Hill Tribe University Students (Years 1-4) to enable them to complete the higher education level they aspire to. These scholarships are divided into two types: Scholarship for Academic Excellence: No limit on the number of scholarships per school. Scholarship for Good Conduct: Limited to 1 scholarship per school. 2. Develop Leadership Potential for students within the foundation so they can learn, grow, and pursue a dignified profession. After this development, the scholars will have the opportunity to return as Role Models to: Pass on educational opportunities. Share inspiration for pursuing higher education. Provide educational guidance and recommend suitable scholarships and application procedures to their junior hill tribe peers at Rajaprajanugroh Schools in the Upper Northern Region.

| Living Allowance Support for University Students (Years 1–4) Academic Year 2025 โดยทุนค่าครองชีพถูกจ่ายให้นักเรียนทุนครั้งแรกในปี 2567 และดำเนินการต่อไป โดยมอบให้นักเรียนทุน 25 คน ได้แก่ (1) นักเรียนทุนชั้นปีที่ 1 จำนวน 15 คน (2) นักเรียนทุนชั้นปีที่ 2 จำนวน 10 คน ทุนค่าครองชีพจะให้เป็นรายเดือน จำนวน 2,500 บาท (8 เดือน/1 ปีการศึกษา) ดังนั้นนักเรียนทุน 1 คน จะได้รับค่าครองชีพ ทั้งสิ้น 20,000 บาทต่อ 1 ปีการศึกษา | 25persons | 500,000.00 |

Project manager
ครูแบงค์เริ่มเข้าไปทำงานในพื้นที่โดยเป็นครูอาสาสอนเด็กชาวเขาเมื่อปี 2553 ณ โรงเรียนในกลุ่ม ศส. กลุ่มปัญหา 3 ประการที่ครูแบงค์พบระหว่างที่ตนเป็นครูอาสากว่าหนึ่งทศวรรษมีดังนี้ (1) นักเรียนไม่กล้าฝัน ส่วนใหญ่ไม่เคยคิดวาดฝันว่าตนอยากเป็นอะไรในอนาคต ไม่คิดว่าตนเองจะเรียนอะไรได้สูงนัก คิดว่าตนเองนั้นต้นทุนต่ำคงสู้นักเรียนในเมืองไม่ได้ การได้มีโอกาสเรียนถึง ม. 6 ที่โรงเรียนกินนอนแห่งนี้ก็ถือว่าโชคดีมากแล้ว เพราะยังมีเด็กชาวเขาอีกหลายคนที่ไม่มีโอกาสมาเรียนเหมือนพวกเขาเลยด้วยซ้ำ (2) นักเรียนขาดทุนการศึกษา หลายคนมีข้อกังขาว่า แม้นเขากล้าฝัน ขยันเรียนไป และเอนท์ติด พวกเขาก็อาจจะไม่มีโอกาสเรียนได้อยู่ดีเพราะขาดทุนทรัพย์ ปัจจุบันรัฐไม่ได้ส่งเสริมให้ทุนการศึกษาในระดับอุดมศึกษา มันแทบจะเป็นไปไม่ได้เลยที่ผู้ปกครองของนักเรียนชาวเขาซึ่งทำงานรับจ้างหรือเป็นเกษตรกรอยู่บนดอยจะส่งเสียให้พวกเขาได้เรียนจนจบ (3) ผู้นำโรงเรียนและครูขาดการส่งเสริมและพัฒนาอย่างมีคุณภาพ งานวิจัยบ่งชี้ว่า งบประมาณในการพัฒนาผู้นำและบุคลากรจาก ศธ. มีไม่เพียงพอ ยิ่งไปกว่านั้นหลักสูตรพัฒนาบุคลากรของ ศธ. ที่มีนั้นมีคุณภาพไม่พอต่อความต้องการของนักเรียนชาวเขาและบริบทางสังคมในพื้นที่ภาคเหนือ พันธกิจของมูลนิธิฯ: ส่งเสริมการศึกษาและพัฒนา (1) นักเรียนชาวเขาและนักเรียนด้อยโอกาสให้เป็นบุคคลต้นแบบแก่เด็กนักเรียนด้อยโอกาส (2) ครู ผู้นำโรงเรียน และบุคลากรการศึกษาที่ทำงานให้นักเรียนชาวเขาและนักเรียนด้อยโอกาสในเขตภาคเหนือ วัตถุประสงค์ของมูลนิธิฯ: (1) ส่งเสริมคุณภาพการศึกษาให้แก่นักเรียนด้อยโอกาสที่อาศัยในเขตพื้นที่ทางภาคเหนือของประเทศไทยและเด็กด้อยโอกาสทั่วไป ผ่านการให้ทุนการศึกษาและออกค่าใช้จ่ายในการดำรงชีวิต (2) สนับสนุนและสร้างแรงบันดาลใจ รวมทั้งเพิ่มโอกาสในการศึกต่อแก่นักเรียนด้อยโอกาส (3) พัฒนาการเรียนการสอนในและนอกโรงเรียนสำหรับเด็กด้อยโอกาสให้มีประสิทธิภาพมากขึ้น (4) พัฒนาบุคลากรทางการศึกษา ได้แก่ ผู้บริหาร ครู และเจ้าหน้าที่ในโรงเรียน ซึ่งมีหน้าที่ดูแลเด็กด้อยโอกาสให้มีศักยภาพมากขึ้น รวมทั้งจัดการฝึกอบรมให้ความรู้แก่ผู้บริหาร ครู และนักเรียน กลุ่มเป้าหมาย นักเรียนชาวเขาที่ต้องการศึกษาต่อในระดับอุดมศึกษาแต่ขาดแคลนทุนทรัพย์ในการเรียน ที่ศึกษาอยู่ที่โรงเรียนราชประชานุเคราะห์ 59, 60, 61, 62 และโรงเรียน ศส. จิตอารีฯ
