Social issues
Students are currently facing a critical lack of clean water for both drinking and daily use. They must rely on untreated water from mountain gravity-fed systems or rainwater collected by the school during the wet season. However, these sources are often insufficient for the needs of the children and teachers. Reliance on mountain water carries risks of contamination from debris and agricultural chemicals used by local villagers, making the water unsafe and potentially harmful to the children's health.

Furthermore, it seeks to promote strong health and concentration in students, enabling them to focus on their studies and contribute to the nation's future development." "The project will survey and identify schools with water scarcity and quality issues across three districts in Mae Hong Son Province—Sop Moei, Mae Sariang, and Mae La Noi—with the goal of installing water filtration systems and water storage tanks at a total of 10 schools."

มูลนิธิเพื่อการพัฒนาเด็ก
มูลนิธิเพื่อการพัฒนาเด็ก (มพด.) ก่อตั้งขึ้นเมื่อ 31 มีนาคม 2525 จวบจนปัจจุบัน มูลนิธิได้รับอนุญาตจดทะเบียนเป็นมูลนิธิถูกต้องตามกฎหมายจากคณะกรรมการวัฒนธรรมแห่งชาติ และประกาศจากกระทรวงการคลังให้เป็นองค์กรสาธารณกุศล เมื่อปี พ.ศ. 2532 มูลนิธิฯ เป็นองค์กรที่ส่งเสริมพัฒนาการเด็กรอบด้านทั้งทางร่างกาย จิตใจ อารมณ์ และสังคม โดยการทำงานในระดับรากหญ้า ระดับชาติ และระดับนานาชาติ เพื่อที่จะคิดค้นผลักดันการแก้ไขปัญหาเด็กและเยาวชนอย่างสร้างสรรค์และมีส่วนร่วมจากทุกฝ่าย โดยในช่วงแรกได้ดำเนินโครงการ 4 โครงการหลัก คือ โครงการแด่น้องผู้หิวโหย โครงการแรงงานเด็ก โครงการครอบครัวและชุมชนพัฒนา และโครงการส่งเสริมสื่อมวลชนเพื่อเด็ก กลุ่มเป้าหมาย 1. เด็กในสภาวะวิกฤติชนบท ได้แก่ เด็กขาดสารอาหาร เด็กถูกทอดทิ้ง เด็กขาดโอกาสทาง การศึกษา 2. แรงงานเด็ก 3. เด็กในสภาวะวิกฤติ พื้นที่ 3 จังหวัดชายแดนภาคใต้ 4. เด็กที่อยู่ในสภาวะและสภาพแวดล้อมที่ไม่เหมาะสม เช่น เด็กในชุมชนแออัด เด็กที่ถูกละเมิดในรูปแบบต่างๆ เด็กในสถานการณ์รุนแรง เด็กที่ได้รับผลกระทบจากสถานการณ์การเมืองและภัยพิบัติต่างๆ
