To me the Elephant is one of the most endearing animals on the planet. In addition to it’s massive size and strength, it has an immense intellect and a capability to display a wide range of emotions. Due to this they have become symbols of durability, strength and intelligence across the world. To imagine an animal like this being reduced to a state of starvation, is not something that I can bear to imagine. In addition to supporting the Elephant, you would also be supporting the vast network of people that look after them. This would be especially important for the mahouts (elephant trainers and guides), for whom the elephant is their companion, friend and their only source of revenue. If you want to make sure that their hard work and efforts to rehabilitate the elephants don’t go to waste, this donation will go a long way in ensuring that this place can do the work that needs to be done for these magnificent animals.
