UNICEF NextGen

UNICEF NextGen is a group of young leaders, entrepreneurs and innovators in their 20s and 30s who commit their resources, resolve and enthusiasm toward supporting UNICEF’s life-saving work. NextGen members mobilize their networks and inspire their generation to take action on behalf of the world’s most vulnerable children.

NextGen supports UNICEF Thailand to raise awareness about children’s issues. Members will activate their peers to raise funds and find their philanthropic path along the way. They become activists on behalf of children’s rights, while simultaneously educating the world’s current leaders, emerging leaders, and influencers about humanitarian issues and how they can work to facilitate change.

Generation Unlimited

Generation Unlimited is a new global partnership that aims to remove the barriers that stand in the way of adolescents and young people realizing their dreams. Today, there are 1.2 billion adolescents in the world, the largest cohort ever, with over 60 percent of them living in less wealthy countries. With education, skills and empowerment, adolescents can become engines to transform economies and nations.

Thailand today has five-working people supporting one elderly, but soon the country will have only less than two people supporting one elderly (by 2040). Thailand urgently needs to empower its young people, by improve education and skills for employability in order to shape the future of the nation and contribute to achieving the economic aims set out by the country.
