ก่อนเข้าสู่การเปิดเทอมในปีการศึกษา 2563 ตลอดปีการศึกษา 2562 ได้พัฒนาด้านโภชนาการให้กับเด็กนักเรียนจำนวน 1,124 คน ใน 8 โรงเรียน เป้าหมายเรายังคงเน้นช่วยเหลือเด็กในพื้นที่ห่างไกล โดยเฉพาะ จ.แม่ฮ่องสอน ซึ่งสำนักงานคณะกรรมการพัฒนาการเศรษฐกิจและสังคมแห่งชาติ ระบุว่าปี 2561 จังหวัดแม่ฮ่องสอน เป็นจังหวัดที่มีสัดส่วนคนจนมากที่สุดของประเทศไทย
การทำงานของ Food4Good จึงคัดเลือก 8 โรงเรียนดังนี้

Primary schools in remote areas in Thailand receive 20 baht budget (less than 1 USD) per student per day as part of the government’s school lunch support. Schools in remote areas must figure out how to organize everything from food supply, kitchen equipment, and payment for kitchen staffs with this limited budget.
Although without additional financial support from the government, many of primary schools need to open classes for older students of grade 7-9 because the nearest secondary school in the city is sometime just too far and too expensive for their poor parents to afford. About half of the students have to become a boarding student during the week, due to the great distance between their homes and schools. Students from grade 7 no longer receive government’s financial support for lunch. The schools however have to look for extra funding and manage the existing budget to make sure all students have food on their plates.
For 5 years, Food4Good works together with many organisations, restaurants, hotels, nutritionist and chefs to solve both financial and malnutrition problems. Food4Good now partners with Foundation for Child Development (FCD) in relieving hunger among underprivileged children in 7 schools in Mae Hong Son province.

Beneficiaries: 969 students in 7 schools

- Before: 117 students were under or overweight or with malnutrition. After: 75 students (65%) of the students are no longer under/overweight. Their nutrition has met with the standard guidelines.
- Before: 852 students check-up shoed that their health and diet had met with the nutrition guidelines.
After: 100% of these students remain healthy and do not become under/overweight.
Food4Good is aiming to create a sustainable solution to schools. The team promotes local and high quality food supply concept as well as facilitate the school’s agricultural projects such as vegetable garden, mushroom farm, livestock farming such as fish and chicken.
